Now Geoff I can put the name to a face. I watched the video and was really impressed with your carvings. Being artistically declined one becomes envious of the artist, whether they’re a painter of musician. Someday we’ll meet up at one of these shows.
What nice words, Les. I had forgotten that I even did that interview (it was last April) and was surprised when it was released. I’m about twice the age of most other artists at that show and it is loads of fun. I just applied to a (supposedly) prestigious folk art show in Springfield, OH next November. That’s a little closer to you. Since my daughter will be in Wilmington I’m looking for a shop or two in Waynesville or Lebanon to carry my work. We’ll see.
I look forward to a face-to-face one day./ I won’t recognize you without the binoculars!
I’ve got my big eagle trip tomorrow morning. They’re calling for snow. I hope we have some visibility.
