The Indianapolis arts community thinks so, too, and arrangements have been made for two “minis” between now and the holidays.
This Saturday about 30 of us will be setting up in a large tent for the Irvington Halloween Festival (from the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange website)…
The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange has been invited to participate in the 63rd Annual Historic Irvington Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We will have 30 vendors in a large, enclosed white tent in the parking lot between Tiqueables Antiques and Midwest Scooter on Washington Street. We will also have live music from Shirtless Biddles and others, and we will be selling raffle tickets to raise money for the Irvington Streetscape Project. The event is free and family-friendly. Please come on out with your pockets full of spendin’ money. Get your holiday shopping done early and give the most unique gifts this year!
Even more exciting is the my daughter’s folk duo, Pholly, has been invited to be the first live performers of the day. Phoebe and Molly are scheduled to sing in the 10:00 – 11:00 slot. Get out early and come see these great performers in action.
Please make plans to come and visit with 30 great artists including Emily Vance, my talented, card making step-daughter, 50 Little Birds and Pholly!
