Blue Stone Folk Series Presents
Tonos Triad and
The Hot Club of Colfax!
We’ve been working on this and last night it came together. Now for the same cover you will get two great Gypsy influenced jazz bands!
The Hot Club of Colfax has brought the great swinging sounds of Django Reinhardt to Indiana audiences for over ten years. Not only is this a great band, but it features two of Blue Stone Folk School’s own. Board member Howard Clark will be playing his Selmer Maccaferri Style plectrum guitar and Folk School director, Geoff Davis will play ukulele and trombone!

Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location: Noble Coffee and Tea Co. Noblesville, Indiana
$10 cover, $5 student
Blue Stone Folk School invites you to get your hipster on with and evening of music from modern Gypsy Jazz masters Tonos Triad.
Singled out as “Indianapolis’ premiere Jazzpop/Eurofolk experience, there is nothing orthodox about this talented trio, whose motto is, “If you don’t like one of our songs, just wait a few minutes and we’ll play another.”
Band members will treat you to their diverse talents showcased on nylon guitar, upright bass, melodica, accordion and mandolin. However, the best part of all might be the”infamous” suitcase drum kit.
I promise you are going to find a groove you didn’t know you had.
