This is one heck of an opportunity! You can pick up some great vintage baby clothes, worn by yours truly, and help a serious student pay for her education.
My daughter, Hannah Davis, is a serious student at Indiana University. She wins honors. She’s on the Dean’s List. She holds a responsible position within Traditional Arts Indiana and works hard. She is majoring in Folklore and Central European Studies (She studies and speaks Hungarian, her mother’s ancestral culture.)
She has paid 100% of her college costs without much, if any, borrowing. I’m not sure I would have had the self-discipline to do this.
Hannah understands the value and power of multiple revenue streams. In addition to her job at TAI she takes odd jobs. I’ve heard stories about taking in sewing, waiting tables, raking yards, pet sitting and assembling parts in a manufacturing plant.
I’m kind of proud of her.
She also sells vintage clothing in Clothes Equal College on Etsy. I visited here Etsy site a few days ago and am a bit amused at some of the offerings. I’m amused because they are relics from my own past.
Doesn’t your child need a Kennedy era outfit, or two?
How about the Ike jacket I lived in in college?
